Enjoy Jogja!

This holiday, me and 3 friends of mine went to Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We were so excited and had so much plans but sooo limited money to spend (lol). Consequently, we were backpacking and we tried to find out how to make our plans happened. And yeay there was yogyes.com, the site that provided us the whole things about Yogyakarta (include backpacking ways). So I'm gonna tell how much and how we did our plans.

1. Transportation by train (economy class)
Destination: Jatinegara to Lempuyangan - Rp 35.000
from Lempuyangan, you can ride intercity train to Stasiun Tugu for free.

2. We spent overnight at "Indonesia Hotel" located on Jalan Sosrowijayan along Malioboro.
Price: Rp 70.000/night for 2 persons. And extra charge Rp 20.000 for extra bed/night for 1 person. Well, I recommended that place not only for its price but also for the nice environment. Furthermore, the room actually quite clean and restful.

3. Hello Borobudur Temple!
Price: Rp 15.000 for domestic tourist and $ 10 for foreign.

4. Let's go beach bitches! Finally Pantai Sundak. So quite and clean. I just love it! Unfortunately, there was no access to reach Pantai Sundak unless by car (you can rent car for Rp 240.000/ 12 hours, include driver and gas).

5. Shop till drop at Malioboro and Pasar Beringharjo. Yes I did -drop. My feet were sooo numb. We were walking like maybe more than 4 kilometers while we were there. But no pain no gain, rite? Just a simple advice, don't hesitate to make a really good bid.

Make your own journey and let me know your Jogja experience ;)

Truth is Ruth

@TheLoveStories: The truth is hard. The truth is awkward. And very often, the truth hurts. People say they want the truth. But, do they? (via Twitter)

Do they? Well somehow, I think, the truth is al
ways hard, it hurts, and causes a change but mostly the bad one. Depending on how big your lie and how far your honesty expressed, right?

I don't think people want the truth, because basically everybody wanna feel comfy, joy, safe, and everything in line with their intention. So why'd people want the truth? Why'd you want the truth? Because eventually you know that the truth hurts.

So You Think You Got Chance?

I just saw an article on Yahoo! that said ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Changes Unsigned Singer Christina Perri's Life. I'm usually not interested in such articles, but there was something that attracted me to read it. I found that the article told the story of a musician who worked as a waitress, and somehow she was offered to rush-record a professional version of her song “Jar of Heart” so it can be used for ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ - an American dance competition and reality show.

The song then exploded overnight and whoaaa you guys should check this out how a dance can be so emotional with a perfect song like “Jar of Heart”. At first I was feeling like I'm not interested with dancing and stuff like that, but man, after I saw that video, I'm awfully WOW.

I’ve nothing left to say, just watch!

I just find out that she -Christina Perry- is a YouTube artist. She has a beautiful face and of course a lovely voice. Check out her account on YouTube! http://www.youtube.com/user/lovemspenny#p/u/24/kmXdyfGYZPI
